Who are in the Top 10 high paid NBA Players for 2019?

Forbes has published a list of the 10 highest paid basketball players for 2019. Interestingly, all together they received an income of around $550 million.

1. LeBron James crowds the top of the list. His annual income is $88.7 million. He has been in the first position for 5 years already.  His estimated net worth is $450 million. 

2. Stephen Curry’s salary is $79.5 million per year and more than half of its sum comprises advertising revenue. He even created his own company to handle investments. 

3. Kevin Durant obtained $65 million per year. He is actively involved in charity work and has already denoted funds for the project in his home town for children from needy families.

4. Russell Westbrook is in fourth place. He earned $53.7 million. Westbrook signed a contract that is considered the most expensive in NBA history. He will receive $207 million for 5 years of games.

5. James Harden became  $47.4 million richer last year. Most of this sum is salary, while advertising brought him only $17 million. Nevertheless, he collaborated with Amazon, promoting sports goods.

6. Chris Paul has a total income of $43.7 million. He extended the contract with the Houston Rockets club to a maximum of $160 million.

7. Yannis Adetokunbo is the youngest in this top 10. He is only 24 but has already earned $43.2 million.  Adetokunbo approached the status of a star, becoming the best player in the Eastern Conference.

8. Damian Lillard earned $41 million. He has already completed half of the five-year contract with The Portland Trail Blazers, which is 140 million. He is also keen on rap-music and even released his album.

9. Blake Griffin has $39 million. He is also the founder of a film production company.

10. Paul George earned $38.6 million in revenue. In 2021, he will have the opportunity to become a free agent.
