There are just a few days left before the 2020 NBA finals conclude. Here we’ve gathered some of the gaming highlights from the conference finals and Game 1 of Lakers vs Heat. 2020 NBA finals recap bellow.

Heat vs Celtics

The Miami Heat made it to the NBA finals by defeating the Boston Celtics with a score of 4-2. In the 6th game, the Heat were ahead by just 12 points (125-113). Who knows, maybe with Jimmy Butler, Miami will have a chance to fight for the championship for the first time since 2013. Heat coach Erik Spoelstra gave some comments regarding his wards` gameplay. The whole series was competitive and at the same time well-coached and well-put-together – Spoelstra said. “We deserve to be here” – said Slovenian point guard, Goran Dragic, who scored 13 points in the final game. The Celtics have also fought well, especially the Brown-Tatum tandem, yet they are losing the 3rd conference finals in a row.

Lakers vs Nuggets

The same as LeBron James did, he had a big fourth quarter during the final (117-107) game against the Nuggets. James`s had a tremendous record of 38 points, 16 rebounds, and 10 assists during the final game against Denver. “All the work is not done for me” – said James after the conference finals. Clearly, he`s preparing to meet the team where he used to play before getting to the Lakers – the Miami Heat. Do you feel it? A good portion of drama is coming besides the usual competition. James appears to be not the only shining star in the team. Anthony Davis scored 27 points and is going to play in the finals for first time in his career.

Heat vs Lakers

Here we’ve arrived. Game 1 against the Lakers wasn’t the best for the Heat. The score of 116-98 might seem frustrating for some of you, but be sure the Heat are not giving up so easily, especially if you remember how they’ve made to the finals. Surprisingly for the Lakers, Davis seems to gain momentum with the scale of the game. He’s been 9 points (34-25) ahead of James in the first game against Miami. It seems like the new MVP is coming. For some of the fans, the matchup of these two teams looks like a one-way street for L.A. especially after realizing the fact that they’ve nailed 15 three-pointers in a single game. Erik Spoelstra is still solid and has said the Heat are much tougher than they’ve been in the first game.

Conclusion

The Los Angeles Lakers seem to be favorites when it comes to the matchup against the Miami Heat. After all, they have LeBron James and Anthony Davis in their arsenal. If the Heat want to have at least minimum chances, they must have to get acclimated to the tempo of the Lakers.
