4th-5th  places.    Robinson Canó and Albert Pujols – $ 240 million in 10 years

Let’s begin with Robinson. He participated in the MLB All-Star Game 8 times and was its MVP. He also was honored with Rawlings Golden Glove Award. Robinson made 2420 hits in his career, 305 home runs. He plays for The New York Yankees now.

Albert Pujols is a living legend. The veteran’s contract will end when he is 41 years old. Most likely, he will finish a professional career after that. He achieved a significant part of his results playing for the St. Louis Cardinals.

The holder of such a profitable contract stands a good chance to be in the Baseball Hall of Fame after the end of his career. The contract was signed in 2016 for 10 years. Surprisingly, that only 1 of the 16 seasons spent in MLB was completed with negative WAR.

2nd  place. Giancarlo Stanton – $ 325 Million in 13 Years

Having hit 59 home runs in 2017, he received the MVP award. However, the Miami Marlins decided to exchange a stacked team. Giancarlo Stanton got to the New York Yankees. However, he is worth such a salary. Just look how hard he hits a ball.

1st  place. Mike Trout – $ 426.5 million in 12 years

The Los Angeles Angels signed the contract with Mike Trout. He will receive $ 426.5 million within 12 years. This is a world record in the sport. Mike Trout was twice recognized the MVP, in 2014 and 2016.
