Carolina has a new contract with running back Christian McCaffrey for 4 years, $ 64 million ($ 16 million a year). He has become the highest-paid RB in League history, as on average, outpaces the of salary Ezekiel Elliott from Dallas, who earns $ 15 million a year.

McCaffrey’s new contract will replace the fifth-year option of his rookie deal. If Carolina desires it – the player will remain on the team until 2025, at which time he will be 29 years old.

Negotiations were quick and hassle-free. The new coaching staff of the Panthers immediately expressed its desire to meet one of its leaders, and McCaffrey’s side wanted to sign a new contract before post-quarantine and pre-season training began. The Panthers have managers who find it pointless to pay McCaffrey so much. Their logic is the versatile player typed 1,000 yards on receiving and 1,000 yards “on the legs” last season, and Carolina won just five games.

McCaffrey has received a generously salary to be a leader not only on the field but also in the locker room. “Carolina” got rid of Greg Olsen, Ryan Kalil, Thomas Davis, Julius Peppers, and Cam Newton.

Carolina coach Matt Ruhl is in a difficult position – he has not yet met all of the players personally due to the quarantine. The Panthers could start preparations as early as April 6 but are forced to sit at home awaiting further developments. Carolina risked a reputation before continuing with McCaffrey. After an incident with Cam Newton.

Christian McCaffrey’s crazy fetes on the field are usually compared to the movements of characters in video games. So it’s no surprise that McCaffrey re-signed. The Panthers’ 23-year-old runnering back, who can break Chris Johnson’s record for yards per season, was named last year as the youngest player to hit the Madden 99 rating.
