Patricio Freire is one of the most celebrated Bellator fighters. Freire’s nickname is Pitbull, and he is confident that can defeat Khabib. Moreover, the Brazilian is ready to bet $1 million on his victory.

Brave Guy

Bellator Champion is a truly talented fighter with versatile skills. As befits an athlete from Brazil, Pitbull is excellent in Jiu-Jitsu (he has a black belt). Almost a third of the victories were achieved by knockout. Three of Freire’s four defeats were judges’ decisions, and one more time he lost due to an injury.

Most of the main fighters on the planet fight in the UFC, gaining invaluable experience in meetings with each other. Freire’s last three rivals were Emmanuel Sánchez, Michael Chandler, and Juan Archuleta. They sound good, but it cannot be compared with Khabib’s rivals – Al Iaquinta, Conor McGregor, and Dustin Poirier. However, even there, Pitbull’s prospects are very doubtful.

Does Freire Have Any Chances Against Nurmagomedov?

If we evaluate purely sports skills, then Khabib has a total advantage. Nurmagomedov’s wrestling technique has long become the talk of the town; to climb into a fight with him is suicidal. The difference in size also speaks for Khabib.

Nurmagomedov is too large for a lightweight, which his enemies like to mention. Khabib is 510″; his potential rival is taller by as much as 5`12 inches. A similar difference in favor of Khabib is in the length of his arms. Such differences are almost critical for Freire both in wrestling and standing. Of course, you can recall the difference in size between Magomed Ismailov and Alexander Emelianenko, which did not help the last fighter, but that is not the case here. If Freire is ready to bet $ 1 million, then he has every right to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov.
