This fall 20 team overall will be fighting for the title of the Overwatch League (OWL) championship. The best two of them will play in the Grand Final, but only one team will walk out there as the 2020 OWL champions.

Play-ins in the single-elimination format took place during Week 1 and were concluded from September 3 to September 6. Three low-seeded teams from North America (NA) qualified for the playoffs and two low-seeded teams from the Asian region. Playoffs in the double-elimination format continue from September 11 to September 13. Grand finals are taking place from October 8 to October 10.

There are thirteen teams from the NA region and 7 teams competing in the Asian region. After two weeks of play-ins and playoffs, starting on September 3, they`ll pick the 2 best teams for each region. Those four will compete in a double-elimination bracket until two of them are left, and then they will  fight for the OWL 2020 championship title.
