The Canucks are at the brink of elimination now, as they were defeated by the Golden Knights in Game 4.

Max Pacioretty (Golden Knights) scored twice, so there were three goals in total in the third period, and the total score was 5-3, which lead to the Canucks’ failure.

The Golden Knights are considered to be one of the best teams for now, so it remains to be seen what result they will have in Game 5.

Players’ comments

Max Pacioretty, who recently suffered from an injury and missed one game, mentioned that it wasn’t difficult for him to come back and begin playing. “Everyone is in the right place and all the teammates are trying to help”, mentioned Pacioretty. Nobody expected Pacioretty to show such a brilliant performance, so he surprised both fans and critics.

Vegas coach mentioned that the game was rather a strange one. According to his words, the beginning was good, but then the team got into some penalty troubles. He said that there were some more minor problems, so they will continue improving their skills.

Markstrom admitted that he wasn’t tired at all, although it was the second game in two nights for him.

As for the Canucks, they had their defenceman, Tyler Myers, back. He missed 7 games and now is ready to continue his career.

Speaking about goals

Pacioretty was not the only one who scored for his team. Chandler Stephenson, William Karlsson, and Nate Schmidt scored for the team as well. And, as was previously mentioned, Pacioretty scored the winning goal.

Elias Pettersson, Bo Horvat, and Tyler Toffoli scored for Vancouver.

The win in 5 game

The Golden Knights had this game in their hands until Canucks forward Pettersson scored 3:19 into the third period to get his team their first lead in the game. The Golden Knights had chances to tie the game but forward Mark Stone took a penalty with 16 seconds left in the game. In the end, the Canucks held on to force a Game 6.

Games’ results can be surprising sometimes, so these games are not an exception.
