Willian received offers from Chelsea, Barcelona and Inter Miami. If he chooses the last option, he can go to MLS.

Chelsea Doesn’t Want to Say Goodbye

Willian has made 45 appearances for Chelsea this season, scored 11 goals and recorded nine assists. Chelsea has recently extended the Brazilian’s contract until the actual end of the season. After the agreement expires, he is likely to become a free agent. The head coach of the team, Frank Lampard, wants to keep the player. If this does not happen, Willian will play the last match in a Chelsea shirt against Bayern in the Champions League.

The footballer himself once said that he was ready to sign an agreement for 3 years immediately. However, Chelsea only offered 2 years. Willian, in turn, said his goal was a 3-year contract. Most likely, he will not stay in Chelsea.

Maybe, MLS?

David Beckham has already expressed his interest in the player and invited Willian to move to America. It is not yet clear whether the player accepts the offer from Inter Miami. Besides, he has a huge choice of work. Arsenal (London) is also counting on Willian. In addition to these two teams, the team`s management also began negotiations with the Brazilian. They are ready to meet Willian’s demands and sign a 3-year contract with him. Thus, it remains to be seen whether Willian is able to move to MLS. Perhaps he will decide to stay in London. Against the background of other proposals, moving to America does not seem to be an ideal option for him. However, the Brazilian midfielder may like sunny Miami much more than the changeable English weather. Nevertheless, he is 31 now and the new contract may be the last in his career. Thus, MLS could be a nice place to spend this time. Let’s see what he chooses.
